not read-onlyUpdate an app's pending metadata
Write metadata for one locale of one of your own apps in App Store Connect. Edits the pending (editable) version only — never the live listing — so changes go live with the next release; when no editable version exists, create one in App Store Connect first. Fields: keywords (100 chars, commas count), subtitle (30), name (30), promotionalText (170), description, whatsNew; pass at least one, omitted fields are untouched. Validate the draft with coverage first (budgets, duplicates, keyword-field waste, phrase coverage) and read the current values with asc_listing; the tool re-validates lengths and rejects control characters before sending anything to Apple. Needs an App Store Connect key with the App Manager role.
